messed-up electronics
i baught a used savage from a buddy, and after purchase was told that it was driven into a pond. found that the transmitter works, but receiver is fried i quess, put battery pack on it and nothing worked. everything thats on it says hpi, can't find any other brand for radio or receiver, question is do i have to buy radio and receiver together or will any receiver work, as long as their the same freq. range with matching crystals. also are the plug in's for servo's all different sizes for truck's and buggies. i have a duratrax evader with radio and receiver that are fine but the servo's on the hpi have bigger plugs, can i find servo's with the small plugs that will function in the truck? please help??
