CNC head
I'm thinking about getting a MicroHeli Precision CNC head system for $109.46...is it worth it or do I just continue to replace plastic/cheap parts in the stock kit?
Some background. I started with the EP Blade CX2 about 3 months ago and played with that off and on until I was really confident with it. About a week and a half ago, I got a BCPP and had a blast, it was a lot harder, but I was hovering for an entire pack a couple days later. I had a bit of an accident the other day when I got too cocky and after mrasmm and others helped me deal with my idiocity, I tracked down my problem to a bent spindle. I know it's not that expensive to replace the spindle (and is a whole lot cheaper than buying the CNC head), but if I start early before sinking in a bunch of dough on replacement plastic parts, will it be worth it in the long run?
How sturdy is the head?
Do the CNC parts have greatly increased durability?
Will I see any benefit as a beginner?
Would the $109 be better spent somewhere else?
I was also thinking about getting a new tail motor (GWS - EDP50XC), at 11 bucks, it's not that bad a deal (although the CNC dual would look nice with the head). Please tell me if I'm doing this only for the bling factor and there's no real practical reason to do so!
Thanks in advance for the help.
