Hi Fire Fly, it wasn’t only cheaper than purchasing it online but most important I got it at the time I wanted it. I tried to buy the German frame, which is about US $520 plus S&H, but I got tired of waiting for these to be in stock and that is why I built mine.

Hi Sky High, I did have to do all the wiring and soldering. There is not much soldering to do and the manual explains everything you need to know about the wiring. This is as easy as to change the DF motors. The NAV light controller is PC configurable via serial port. You can also change beetween 6 different patterns using one of the Rx channels.
