I would say you'll be good with it. I have the next size down (the Deluxe Hi-Tork) and it has started 1.20 size engines. I plug it directly into a 7 amp hour sealed gel battery, though.

Make sure you get the right insert for the job. The gray rubber insert never worked as well for me as the white silicon version that is matched to the spinner's profile. Press it on tight - if you're scuffing rings in spinners you're not pressing it on tight enough.

And if you flood an engine it stops the starter cold with the added compression. Fuel don't compress like air do.
