some digitals specify the operating voltage... for a reason I'm sure.
As the voltage goes up the dead band gets narrower. Some digitals, specifically helicopter tail rotor servos like the 9253, 9254, 9251 and 9256 have a very narrow dead band and operate at a much higher frame rate (270hz or 333hz) when hooked to a gyro or rpm governorn vice the standard reciever output which is 70hz and will cause them to over heat and fail.
