Air Leak Question??
I was running my Savage today and my Axial 28 RR seems to still have an air leak somewhere as I have sealed everything and located an air leak in the past. After coming off full throttle and coming to a stop with the carb fully closed the idle seems to hang up high and then come down slowly sometimes it garggles and starts to idle crayz it makes that annoying lean sound if i blip the throttle it comes back to normal. Even if i richen up the bottom end needle till its almost all the way out I still get the same result. I am pretty sure its an air leak and the only place left that bubbles come out when i soap up the carb and blow through the fuel tube is between the carb body and the slide under the slinky type rubber . So my question is, is there suppose to be air leaking from there the slide has a slot in it so i suppose its suppose to leak some air but mine leaks a lot????? Its leaking under the rubber in the pic!!
