He's right. Do not bother getting it warranteed. It will probable last the same amount of time. The servos that come from the factory on r/c cars are never really that good. I had my steering servo on my mantis which is almost 500.00 last 5 minutes before it did the same as yours and the second one they warranteed lasted 10 minutes. I just went and bought one and never had a problem since.
