IF I had the time to build, the BUSA 1/3 is ten times the plane. But, out of the box, this bird is a great fix for Big Bird-itus.
Forget the stock wheels, use the 6" Du-bro inflatables. The stock tailwheel spring could be softer, or a better one altogether.
If you were going to go weight crazy, there is a lot of room for a diet, but really, it is not needed. I think it's wing loading is perfect with the six pound 106.
