RE: GP Cap 232
Hi all,
i need a little help or suggestion for my CAP232 (if possible).
I have finally finished to build the plane and i'm now in the middle of running-in my engine, but i have problems with fuel pressure i believe. I know this isn't strictly the exact thread for it, but maybe someone has my same setup or has advices for fuel lines/tank. My setup is:
Engine: Moki 1.80
Plug: A5 O.S. plug
Muffler: Slimline Large Volume Pitts Muffler for Moki 180 (with special smoke inlet)
Propeller: Master Airscrew 18x10 Classic Nylon Propeller
Tank Stopper: Sullivan's Heavy Duty Aluminum Stopper
All the rest is standard out the box (incl. tank itself) and built per manual instructions. Bought the stopper replacement to have a 1/8" fuel line (both in tank and to the engine). Back pressure and refill are both standard 3/16" lines.
The engine starts (not without some difficulties) very wet, but it keeps running only on low RPMs. It ran about 20/25 minutes now, but i still can't get it to go faster than 1/4 of throttle. Fuel is 20% castor oil only. Touching the needle has no effect on the engine RPMs. What can i do? Try with a smaller 3/16" fuel line?
Thanks in advance!
