Guys, this is interesting stuff, but off on a tangent a bit. The Tango as well as the Twist are not supposed to be hard core 3D airplanes, they are sport aerobatic/3D airplanes. They do some things really well. But the scope of either design was never to be an all out 3D model.
IMHO, the Tango is more fun than the Twist, though both are fun airplanes. The Tango does some really unique and fun stuff. I had a ball with it. But comparing to super lightweight 3D profiles or fluffy light models is apples to flashlights.
OK, now that we're on topic here, I would like to know a little more about this plane. What are the stall characteristics? How is its stability in level flight? How well can it be slowed down while remaining airborne? Does it have good carrying capacity should someone wish to mount a video cam some place? Does Horizon plan to eventually offer skis and floats? Would this plane be suitable for a rough grass field rather than a paved strip? What skill level is it designed for? Is a computer radio with exponential a requirement for setup? Any info you can give would be appreciated, MMcConville. Yes, I AM interested in this model, it looks to be very unique, and capable of doing a lot of stuff.
