Default Home Brew Floatplane

A home brew design, little like a Super Marine, 40FS engine, 11x6 prop, home brew floats, all covered with Monokote. No water rudder, I never use them. All up weight about 3+ lbs. It will go straight up out of sight. Very responsive and fun on floats. No special procedures regarding water, no receiver in plastic bag, nothing special except good tight covering job. The floats are just enough to float the plane, it jumps out of the water if full throttle is used, realistic takeoffs and landings with partial throttle.

Float flying is the most fun RC flying there is I think. I feel that most floats on RC planes are too large. The larger the floats the more they deter good flying performance. I have had many great RC float planes, this pictured one is by far the greatest. It's called the "Four Flusher".
