you would want to use side by side packs with the T2R. as far as performance similar to the T2R in the T2R price range none... you will indeed spend more money for a kit similar to the performance. cyclone is similar the TC5 is similar. but they are all in the 300+ price range. the closest rc to the T2R price range and is also a a good racer would be the tamiya ta-05R
