hanger rash
"Hanger Rash"In a full size hanger ,the planes would sometimes make contact with each other,or a tool box ,or a hanger door .(did that one myself on a T-28 )due mostly to confined space ,and protrusions sticking out .This contact would cause damage --dents -puncture,s scrapes or RASH --Bikers call it "road Rash" ..Modelers adopted the phrase ..Models are sometimes stacked on top of each other ,and a hole is caused ,or a flying surface is broken --etc Its a catch all phrase for minor damage done to a plane Happy Flying Joann
