Thanks for the additional info on the stock engine. I am new to nitro so the most user friendly to start off with is good for me. I plan on taking my time in building the kit (technically it's my x-mas present from my wife) so I have some time before I install the engine.

Anyone have any recommended servos? I was looking at a Futaba FM system with the 3003 servos but they seem to be too tall for the kit. Their height is 36 mm and the kit states 29 mm max.
