I think a manta ray would be one of the best ways for you to go. The black jack (might) be a headache for you if you do not understand what a hull needs. And don't want to work on your boat. For me that's the fun of it when you see a Decant hull that has been setup mass produced. That should've been done a lot better. I think it's one of the better looking skater's around also being the size that it is. I would probably ditch the exhaust tips, rails and a few other things, The wing looks kinda cool. I've seen a vid of it completly stock and it runs real well!
