danny 31292 has a good point. Use your pack for a few flights then cycle it and see how much capacity is left. I think you will be surprised. I get about 2 hours of ON time from my Tx using a 500 mAh pack. The disadvantage of higher capacity packs is that you will need to replace them more often. The lower capacity packs are more robust in my experience.
