Starterboxes..
Well it's becoming more and more clear that a starterbox is the way to go for a truggy, and I've known for a while now that I'm gonna have to bite the bullet...
Not knowing anything about them though, I have a couple questions:
Is the Thunder Tiger starterbox with one 770 motor and dual stick packs powerful enough?
For starters it has to be dual stick packs, cuz I'm not gonna lug some car battery around....
I was told to get the Ofna truggy box, but here in Germany it plus two batteries would literally cost as much as a new engine itself.. The TT box is one of the very very few things I can get for a not preposterously inflated price here in Germany..
Also, the Ofna and Mugen boxes which I was looking at both have dual motors, so I was wondering if using dual stick packs would mean less juice to each motor, or just less overall battery time??..(as opposed to dual stick packs with the single-motor TT box..)
I was set on saving to get the Ofna box(grudgingly..), but Stussman says he's had no problems with the TT box plus OS 28 - exactly the engine I want to get...
Just wanted to know if anybody else has experience with it or other single motor boxes or anything else to add... I suspect I'm not the only MT guy moving to truggies having to face gettig a starterbox..
Thanks..
