RE: Starterboxes..
They have those Ansman boxes here too.. They ARE cheap - heck, I can even buy those in the city..
Anyways, I don't totally understand what you did to your backplate, but sounds good if you got it running.. BTW, how much fuel did you have through your LRP before the bearing went?
And yeah, I don't want a OWB engine in a truggy, cuz it's pretty clear to me truggies need all the RPM's they can get, not to mention mounting hassles with PS or rotostart backplates... Another factor for me is being able to use the one-piece engine mount on the Muggy, and hopefully avoid some clutch issues..(already gnarled up my Max life shoes with the LRP..)
I still like having an Axial pullstart in my Savage though, and wouldn't mind converting the Mach in my LST2 to pullstart.. So much easier... Nice to just have a glow ignitor in your pocket...
To start I'm gonna just have 2x stick packs, but I can imagine later I'll have to get a backup set too - 4x stickpacks ain't cheap, not to mention the hassle of charging them.. Yeah yeah a car battery is better - but it's also doesn't fit in my backpack... That that kind of convenience is important for bashing is undeniable IMO...
