the engin sits real high, but with the ansmann i can get the truggy to sit low enough to get the starter wheel to hit the flywheel, but i had to take a fair chunk out of the chassis to make enough room so the starter wheel didn't rub.
the 8ight T RTR engine mount sit's high so the mach's can fit in the 8ight, i was told over and over it was impossible to make it bump start without the race roller engine mount, but it works..
obviously it doesnt work well enough for you to start your engine........ you sit there and bash starter boxes in another thread , yet you dont even bother to set one up properly....Your complaining to me about having to hack you chassis, then now I read that your trying to use a RTR engine mount, seriously what do you expect ?....No wonder your setup is not working well.....
As well stick packs suck.... you need to use a 12V gel cel motorcycle battery...they cost about $12.00 , they are small enough to fit inside the starter box, and they provide double the cranking power of two stick packs......
