this is a great question, i think you might get more help over in the question and answer forum here.. i really would like to be able to quickly detach my struts as well. i was thinking about something like the key ring splitter that separates in the middle, fasten one end into the screw holes on the strut and the other side, mount in the fuselage and just snap them together and apart with ease! one of us should try this question in the q&a forum though.. i will give you a little while to post it there as this was originally your post..
