the race should be close, but the longer the race is the farther the revo will get ahead. If the revo was outfitted with a 40t spur, and a standard ratio tranny set it would be no comparision. The revo is overgeared from the factory(IMO but im a brushless guy so torque is my thing) the revo would then accelerate like a BB and top speed would still be similar between the 2.
