On my CX2 I removed the Vortex upper head and installed the aluminum upper head from my Eflite inner shaft. I would think that if ya wanted to stick with stock for now just remove the Vortex upper any way ya like and gently remove the Eflite one using a little care and caution and CA it onto the Vortex inner. I bought the inner and outer vortex shafts as well as the flybar and installed all 3 on mine........No blade clack and was a simple but not drop in replacement.
