If is the engine that can with the H9 P-51 PTS, it's probably not an "NT" but the trainer engine (it came with a flywheel, right?) and it has a more conservative port timing.
It still a very good engine, it will just turn a bigger prop and or more pitch at lower RPM whereas the "NT" makes a bit more power at a higher RPM with less prop load.
