My daughter is 4, and every time I fire up the simulator, she has to join in.

Admittedly, she crashes often, but she's getting a grasp of the basics pretty quickly. I'm about to join a local club, and I have a feeling she'll be out with at the field pretty often.

I wonder at what point they lose all interest in anything not "girly"...
My four year old daughter has to take her turns at the simulator too and crashes a lot too. I've taken her out to the field a handful of times, she really enjoys watching the planes (and stopping to get donuts on the way). I was a little nervous about her being around some of the planes (not touching or running around them) and the props, but she has listened and followed all of my rules that I gave her. She is very respectful of other people's planes, she'll get me to walk her over to other planes so she can look at them. I'm hoping she maintains her interest in the planes and me. My family actually has three generations out at the field, my dad, me and my daughter. Now if we could only get my mom and wife out there...
