Default RE: Women fliers

Yeah, my club is made up with mostly older gentlemen too. Now, that I think about it, if it weren't for these old guys the club probably wouldn't have gotten started. In a past club newsletter, their is this man named, Tom Stevens. It showed all his accomplishments, his planes hes built, and how he got started in the hobby of RC. After, reading that I began to have a great deal of respect for the older gentlemen in the club. They truly have great wisdom, flying and building skills, etc. I do agree with Wild Foamy, it would be nice to see more young pilots get into this hobby. But, in my club their are 4 other young pilots my age that I'm real good friends with. Although, I do wish that more female pilots get into the hobby, I'm the first and only girl in the club and I'm not sure that our club will ever have another female pilot. I actually don't mind being the only girl, but, it would be nice to see another girl out at the field.
