Midwest Tri-Squire
I just thought I would finally post about my Midwest Tri-Squire that I have completed aside from coving (Thermal Span is on the way). I was given the original 1960-something kit by a friend of mine last fall. I inventoried the kit and found nothing missing, but much of the parts were splitting from age and the plan had been attacked by insects at some point in its 40+ years in the box. I restored the plans and made copies to build from and re-kitted with hand-cut fresh balsa. I built this to the plan minus the GG contols with a few exceptions (mods for a brushless set-up, bolt-on wing, steering nose wheel, larger elevator, and the cowled nose).
