My wife's dad used to fly in the 50's and early 60's and my wife used to accompany him to the field. After these many years, got me interested last fall. She is at the field nearly every weekend with me. Last fall she did several flights with my trainer and one of our instructors on the buddy box. She is planning on taking regular lessons once the two feet of snow is off the runway. The instructor said she was a natural so this winter I'm building some new planes for me so she can have the trainer and I can move on. One other wife has taken an interest at our club and may try lessons this spring as well. Lots of other wives come just to watch.
