We have a young lady who flies at our field. She is a Dupont engineer and very smart. Seems as if a lot of the old guys just want to watch her and see what see what she doe's. She showed up with a telemaster she built from a kit and it was unbelievable the help she received to getting it flight ready! After a couple months and a few crashes the Tele needed some major repairs so she flew the club trainer. The engine went bad and no one had time to sort it out. She took it to a picknic table and tore it down and repaired it. New seals and a good cleaning. It ran pretty good after she was done. I was rather impressed with her perserverance to keep flying or learning more about the hobby.
