RE: Jet Quality
Depends on your budget and skill level (the amount of work you want to put into completing) Skymaster is a very very good company, good selection of kits but pricing is at the mid to higher end of the scale but not up there with BVM etc, but quality is top notch.
Flyeagle is a low price point company that has popped up, there are postings on RCU from members who have taken the chance and brought kits from this new company, so far the results have been very good, nice well made kits and a very very good price with landing gear etc included in the price, which is normally not the case for the higher end brands and really adds to the end cost, they are in the process of bringing the pricing up (April) so if your quick you can get a very good F-15 / F-16 kit from then with all the trimmings.
Fei Bao / JL do have a good model base as well now, they, at one time or another, were connected to Anton of Skymaster and learned a lot from his knowledge before they all went their own ways, and he started making the higher quality ARF full detailed kits he now offers, but JL & Fei Boa have come along a long way and are making some good quality very flyable kits, they have plenty of U.S dealers to support you as well, pricing is not as good as flyeagle but the model selection is better and possibly product support.
Don't forget your home grown companies as well, there are some great garage kit companies out there, you may have to put in more elbow grease but you can still obtain a very tasty flying machine that you could possibly not obtain from the above outfits yet.
Basically you need to see what you budget and skill level is then choose what your looking for, spend time going through all the postings as there is a wealth of knowledge on this site that truly you cannot find else where.
As for the web sites of the above, do a 'Google' you will find them quickly.
