I don't want this to sound like a commercial but when I find a good product I like to share. These are from
www.pspmfg.com I went to their site to buy fuel dots some time ago. I saw these cowl binders and wanted to try them. I am really impressed with them. The cowl never moves or gets loose. I am posting a pic of them loose and some of them installed. They basicly snap through a hole in the cowl you make. When the screw is tightend the rubber expands and the cowl stays put. I did not paint mine but it would be easy to do.
The small set is $8 and the large $12. I bought a few dots and things to save on shipping. They have several colors of fuel dots.
