Thanks. I'm not after comparisons of the servos. I have had dozens of 8511, 8611 and 8711 servos and all have been great with zero failures.

I just wondered if anyone had had a failure with any of these servos, did the servo fail in a seized state or could the arm still be moved manually?

It's all to do with some linkage geometry vs. possible servo failure in the Skygate Hawk elevator mechanism.
