What I'm hoping for is no more stripped gears and bent shafts. The Typhoon is the only gear-driven plane I have and, since I fly a lot (almost daily), those gears just wear out too soon for me.
You brought up an interesting point about the plastic gears wearing out. can you use wd-40 on these things? how do you know when its time to change them.. is it one of those "you find out when you crash" sort of deals?
do they make the gears in more durable metal?
