I have one of those winches from an old EC12. It IS Proportional and does not use the bang bang switches. I am trying to locate mine in the garage for Mr. Dinosaur. I set it up for a Futaba/Hitec and it worked fine. It has a meatl gearbox with a feedback pot on the output shaft and the board uses the throttle servo signal plus a 12V battery to run the motor in the winch.
