I've got a 427 on the way. The only real pro/con I've heard is the 427 gives up power to the spec 3 but the power delivery of the 427 makes it easier to drive?
Actually IMO the 427 has a harder "hit" in the power curve.
The LRP makes more power everywhere, but its smoother power.

Perhaps a good comparo would be the power characteristics of a 2 stroke 250 (the 427) vs a 4 stroke 450 motorcycle (the LRP)
