RE: YA F-18 Owners, side rail and steering solution
Nice work Sean. That sure looks like a solid solution.
In looking at your photos, I need to shout out to all those who have, or are waiting on gear detail from me...the steering arm that Sean shows above will interfere with the detail work on the nose gear.
My upper detail sleeve goes up halfway between the two set screws that secure the pin in the top of the nose strut. Just a head up.
The top of the sleeve almost reaches the side rails. (see pic)
