first il say i have no experience in this BUT
Id use what the jet guys do which is a co2 extinguisher the nice thing about the co2 is it displaces the oxygen killing the fire but wont destroy your equipment... (i wouldn''t want to spray water on a regulator or rx...)
As far as size the bigger the better as long as you can carry it
Just my un-educated opinion on the subject..
