Default Baja Skunkworks Super Twin Baja

Don't know if you guys have seen this yet. We showcased this at RCX. This was one of our many projects that we have on the list of to-do's. Our motivation behind this project was that we wanted to get more power into the car and make it a six wheeler for stability. This is what we came up with. Even though it is longer at about 42" we machined custom zero-degree-toe shims for the mid wheels and only lost about 10% to 15% steering radius. THe current repeatable top speed for this car is 56 mph. This was with two untuned 26's and the TGN X-cans. We feel that there is much more in her. This has also been one of the most enjoyable RC's that I have ever driven. We can't wait to get her out to the big dunes.

Here are some links to pics and videos from RCX

Here are some pics taken by Ted from DarkSoul Racing. He is one of the co-creators of this car and did the final build for the show.

Here a link to an old video from the first test run several months ago. On the asphalt one of the engines wasn't working too well. The filter was clogged so it would bog at full throttle. On the grass we had paddles and the grass was wet. This was the perfect combination for drifting. I have some other footage from the beach that I have to sort through but this should hold you over for now.
