If you use the motors in the kit, you won't need two ESC's. These are Speed 400 brushed motors. I used a 30 AMP brushed ESC for mine. It was a grey one, the Mark I. I used 7 and 8 cell battery packs, one at a time, usually 1300 to 2400MAH, either NiCd or NIMh. I had it for over four years and destroyed it last year. It just stopped responding to the radio. I'm tempted to buy a Mark II, the new white one, but so far I have too many projects. It's a great flying plane and nothing beats the "gee Whiz" effect of a twin.
