Just found this thread. My first pattern plan was a Tigertail back in the 70's. I remember flying it until the batteries went dead one day (I was very young and did not know any better) and for some reason they do not look or fly good after landing on thier nose. Had to dig the engine out. Built another on in the late 80's. Can not remember what happened to it. I still have the horz stab. Have been wanting to build another one and recently acquired a new set of Kraft electric retracts which would go great in this plane. thinking of a built up wing in lieu of foam. Have a Super Tigre 61 for the plane. Richard: The pictures of yours look great and brings back many memories. I never entered any contest and do not intend on doing so. For me nothing flys like a good old pattern plane.
