If it flies ok for you then you have it set up good. My set up is a little similar for the servos. I don't know if the DX6i has this, but the DX7 has two percents that I look at. When both are 50% then I use the subtrim to make them 90 degrees. If you want I can give you a couple of links to throttle and pitch curves.
