Just to play Devil's advocate, Pe's spreadsheet shows it would take only 1.53hp to turn an APC 14x6 at 101000rpm. Maybe with the tuned pipe it can do it.

Sanye makes two models of .52 two-stroke. The "A" model is the revver. The "S" model, sold in Europe, is the torquer.

It sounds like someone in marketing is having fun.

I'm under the impression that the S models are sold in Europe only, where sound standards are tougher. But, truthfully, I'm guessing and your guess is as good as mine.

Look at the "Just Engines" material concerning the Sanye .52 two-stroke. A while back they were expounding upon how their .52 was a stroker/torquer (paraphrasing) and how it swung larger props than the "A" version. Now you know as much or more about it than I do. <G>
