Default RE: BAD Day at the field

I think that all planes do crash, I have one that has at least 3 crashes on it, yet it looks perfect, that is because each crash was pretty minor, I have had to fix the firewall a couple of times, but nothing major. All planes will eventually crash because of pilot error, engine flame out ect, it happens and is part of the hobby, but most crashes are pretty minor, a bit of CA and Epoxy and you can be back in the air in no time.

In the two years I have been flying I can count the number of fatal - no repairable - crashes on one hand, when I really think about it in the last 2 years I have seen one airframe completely destroyed, and one other that I arrived at the field a few minutes late for - but I helped him find his plane in the bush.

Over that time I have seen maybe 25 total crashes (including 4 or 5 of my own).

Pretty much 100% of the crashes I have seen were a result of pilot error.
