You put it in a crock pot on low, no boiling.

Very effective but you need to remember a couple of things.

1. The fumes are bad.
2. Porcelin is porous, don't ever cook food it again. I used a 5 dollar one that I picked up at a garage sale.
3. The new environmentally friendly antifreeze won't do anything. You need the cheap, plain ole etheleneglycol green stuff.

It works like a champ
