Grinder: I know all about the weak reverse in the Aquacraft esc's. I have a few.

However, unless you will be practicing mauevers with docking etc that require reverse, let me say it is highly over rated. Reverse is not needed very often. In many cases, going into reverse causes water to ingress the hull up the stuffing tube. If you are towing a line, you will just run over it and tangle it in your prop. If you have a low stern and a powerful reverse, you will flood your deck. Etc.......

If this is your first boat, I suggest you just give boating a try without relying on having a reverse. You will realize you don't relly need it much. If you are already experienced and have lots of other model boats with a powerful reverse and you like it anyway, then just disregard my comments.
