Default RE: Engine woes at the track

ORIGINAL: Nordy

The track temp was a few degrees higher than last week but only by 2 or 3, I tried the cleaning the glow plugs and even installed new ones which made no difference.

When I arrived the 8T fired as it always does (instantly), it cut off half way into it's first tank and that where the problem started with that one. The Muggy just didn't want to fire period! I must be missing something??????
That indicates you were runnign to lean, the engine overheated to the point where the fuel boils rapidly. So then you need to wait for the engine to cool down. I mean clean the glow ignitor more then the glow plug.
