Default RE: Engine woes at the track

ORIGINAL: Nordy

Just come back after trying to fix the start problem - I got both car's started but only by using a high speed drill which took 3-4 seconds before starting was engaged.

I cleaned the glow starter, changed the plug again, drained the tank earlier today and put fresh fuel from a new gallon in. I am hoping this is all down to tune as I feel I need to re-set the LRP .28 back to factory and start all over again. However the starting problem is still really bugging me. BTW this was all on my 8T.

I really miss when my car's started in a second or 2 with the normal roto start systems []
Check the engine head screws. Tighten them in a star format X .
