Default Digitals: Jr/Hitec programmer

Hello Group:

I'm fixing to purchase some digitals for a Carden
extra.

I've been doing a lot of reading here on the forums and it appears that it may be difficult to find servo's that center in the same position. I.E. for using multiple servos on the same control
service.

Which brings me to Hitec and the programmer they now sell. The programmer solves this problem on the Hitec digi's. It allows you to, among other things, set the same center position on each servo.

I've used JR's and Hitec. The only failure I've had is with a Hitec 645 where all of a sudden it only gave me a small amount of movement. Luckily in this situation I had a servo for each elevator half and was able to land the plane.

It appears that the Hitec solution is the way to go due to the programmer. Is one manufactures servo better than the other? Again I researched this and there are several opinions out there on Hitec and JR, both good and bad.

So whats my question? Should I go JR Digi's or Hitec Digi's?

Thanks.
