Well, I've got 300 flights on this same Esky 3800 and it hasn't failed yet and I fly it hard. That's pretty good if its that bad of a motor
Most flights were with a Esky 25A ESC (which also has a bad rep around here for burning up)..and that's still going strong on my HBK2 too.
The Esky 25A outlasted a HobbyWing 30A ESC so it's earned its keep.
I have talked to Rusty about the danlions several times and i'm going to try one next time i need a motor, but as long as the blades spin and the heli has all the power i need to fly how i fly and this keeps working, i'm a happy camper.
What brand motor malfunctioned for you in that last crash?
