RE: 2 for one - Carden 40% Extra 300 Build
I worked on the servo installation and wiring over this hot weekend. All the servo's
are install except the 2 rudder servo's in the red plane.
Once that was complete I finished installing my cowl, prop, spinner and got the plane ready
for an initial balance test.
I used a scale and weighed each wheel and did the calculations. It looks like the blue plane is
38.375 pounds and the CG sits at 33.86" from the tip of the spinner. That equals 1/4" in front
of the wing tube. The plans call for 1/2" to 5/8" in front of the wing tube so I am real close.
I hope to have all the remaining hardware by the middle of the week so I can start setting up
the controls.
