RE: balancing 86"
I'm going to maiden the new Yak tomorrow, we'll see how it goes. I don't have a spinner but I don't think a spinner alone will make that much of a difference on CG. I'm also using the stock side muffler that came with the DL50. I'm guessing with a canister set up and spinner the plane would balance as per manual. I had to move the receiver pack up into the motor box and added an old transmitter battery pack to get the correct balance.
